Right-clicking on an appointment box on the Appointment Book will give you access to the Right Click Menu. Users with Read-Only privilege have limited access to the functionalities on the menu. Users with Full-Scheduling privilege have full access to all the essential functionalities used for scheduling.
· Access for Full-Scheduling Users
From the Right Click Menu, users with Full-Scheduling privileges may apply the following functionalities to the selected appointment:
1 Appointment Detail – Opens a window, showing patient demographic and appointment information within the different tabs. The most frequently used tabs are the Patient Info.(1) tab, that lists patient demographics and the Appt tab that lists appointment details and the name of the person who scheduled the appointment. 2 Reschedule Appointment – Allows you to reschedule the selected appointment. See the Rescheduling Single Appointments topic for more details.
3 Cancel Appointment – Allows you to cancel the selected appointment. See the Cancelling Single Appointments topic for more details.
4 Copy Appointment – Allows you to copy the selected appointment (multiple copies). See the Copying Appointments topic for more details.
5 Copy Scheduling Set – Not used at UHN.
6 Request/Edit Confirmation – Puts black vertical lines on the selected appointment box. For more details, see the Confirm feature on the Appointment Book Overview topic.
7 Confirm – Removes the black vertical lines on the selected appointment box. For more details, see the Confirm feature on the Appointment Book Overview topic.
8 Print – Allows you to print a Patient Itinerary. Move your cursor over this option to open a sub-menu. For more details on printing itineraries and other reports, see the Generating a Report topic.
9 Audit Log – The audit log is a list of all the appointment events. The Audit Log will list the creation and all edit dates of your appointment. It will also list the user’s TID number who created or changed the appointment, for reference.
Look under the Orig. Loc. column to see where the event took place:
· The status of COPY indicated that the appointment was copied from another appointment.
· The status of NEW indicates that the appointment was newly created.
· The status of GRID indicates that the appointment was rescheduled (MOVE) on the Appointment Book or Grid.
Click OK at the bottom to close the window.
10 View/Edit – Allows you to make edits to the appointment. Move your cursor over this option to open a sub-menu that will display all the aspects of the appointment that you can edit. For more details on editing an appointment, see Editing Single Appointments.
11 View – Not used at UHN.
12 Visit Information – View the EPR visit
number. Add or edit an EPR visit to the appointment.

13 Appointment Tracking – Used by some units to arrive or activate appointments. Please see the topic on Visit Activation. This field is only used by schedulers who do not have access to EPR. Schedulers with access to ERP should never use this field.
14 Medical Necessity Check – Not used at UHN.
15 Eligibility – Not used at UHN.
16 Assign/Edit Block Statistics – Not used at UHN.
17 Assign Anesthesia – Not used at UHN.
Users with Read-Only privileges may view information on the selected appointment, but they cannot make changes to any appointment.
