Editing Single Appointments

 

Open the Right Click Menu to edit details of an appointment that has already scheduled on the Appointment Book.

Steps for Editing Appointment Details

 

1     Right-click inside the appointment box to open the Right Click Menu.

2     From the menu, click on View/Edit to open a sub-menu.

3     Within the sub-menu are the details about the appointment that you can view or edit. Select an option.

List of Details That Can be Viewed and/or Edited

Selecting an option from the View/Edit sub-menu will enable you to view certain details of an appointment and make necessary edits.

 

1     Preferred TimeNot used at UHN.

2    AnswersView or edit answers to scheduling questions that appear before or after scheduling an appointment. For example, after scheduling a Telehealth appointment, several questions appear.  

3    Appointment ClassView or edit the appointment class (colour). See the topic PHS Terminology for more details.

4     Duration – View or edit the length of time for the appointment.

5   Appointment Diagnosis – View or edit the ICD9 codes. See the topic Scheduling Using the New Button topic for more information.

6     Ordering Physician – View or edit the ordering physician.  

7     Referring Physician – View or edit the referring physician.  

8     Attending Physician – View or edit the attending physician. 

9     Scheduled Procedure NameEdit or add any comments that are required for the patient for this particular appointment. This functionality is used frequently across UHN.

10  Actual Procedure NameNot used at UHN.  Editing the Actual Procedure name will not update any comments entered on the appointment.

11  Anesthesia TypeNot used at UHN.

12  Reschedule Reason – If the appointment was rescheduled, this enables you to edit the reason for rescheduling.

 

13  Conflicts/Appt Summary – View appointment conflicts. See the topic Handling Appointment Conflicts topic for more information.

 

14  Appt Requested By – View or edit referral information. See the topic Scheduling Using the New Button topic for more information.
