HUMAN RESOURCES INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
Where
are they
now?
We touched base with
some past HR Interns
and were pleased to see
so many have found jobs
in their chosen eld,
some even here at UHN!
As human resources students advance through their degree program, they will often be required to seek out an
internship that helps turn what they have learned in the classroom into practical experience. The internship allows
them to use their skills in a workplace immediately after graduation. The key to a successful internship is to make the
most of this brief experience and to maximize this span of time and turn it into a tool for better opportunities in the
future.
We asked our Volunteer Resources Interns how they would best describe our program here at UHN. They expressed
ve points: informative, educational, enjoyable, collaborative and exciting. UHN’s mission of achieving global impact is
strongly rooted in its commitment to teaching and training the next generation of professionals and researchers to
serve our patients, the medical community and the world. We wish all our interns great success in their future careers.
