Gone are the days when Candy Stripers ruled the hallways and only little old ladies gave
their time for a worthy cause.
According to Stats Canada, volunteering has grown exponentially in the last few years,
with most of its force ranging in the ages of 15-24.
Here at UHN, we have a wide variety of volunteers from all different ages donating
their time to our four hospitals. We interviewed a few volunteers who are at different
stages in their life and asked why they chose to volunteer.
