Medication Management Overview

The Rx field in the Cumulative Patient Profile (CPP) to record the following for your patients:

1.    Prescription medications

2.    Non-drug prescriptions (e.g. orthotics, physiotherapy, massage)

Important PSS Log-In Information

Resident Log-In Info

·         You will be prompted to type in your supervisor’s initials upon first logging into PSS

·          If you need to change the physician’s name that you are working with, go to the main menu and select settings, and then select Change Supervising Doctor

Allied Health Staff and Pharmacists Log-In Info

·         You will be prompted by PSS to enter the physician initials at the time of prescription order entry (after selecting CTRL + B)

·         PSS employs a medication tree to help you with prescribing
