Volunteers across UHN enhance our patient experience and offer
the types of support that staff is too often busy for. Companionship,
a shoulder to cry on, and even a little break from their every day
On average, if a volunteer contributes a 4-hour shift at "minimum much more
wage", we contributed the equivalent of $3.9 million in Customer
Service in 2018!
