Ordering Non-Drug Prescriptions

Non-medicinal interventions (i.e. OTC preparations, orthotics, massage therapy or  physiotherapy) are
entered as prescriptions, which can then be printed off and handed to the patient.

1.     With the patient’s chart open, choose CTRL + B 

2.     The Prescription Form will appear.
 Enter the name of the desired treatment and select the tab key.

3.    Select the desired treatment from the Chose a Medication Screen and then select the Choose button.

4.    Fill in all details as required. Print or Post the prescription, as needed.

5.    The treatment will now appear in both the patient chart and CPP.
