Correct/Supplement Documents
The Patient Care Schedule can be used to correct or supplement procedures or tasks that have been recently documented.
1. From the Patient Care Schedule, click on the item that needs correcting or supplementing and then click OK.
Note: Select an event in blue font, as this
indicates events that have been completed. In this example, administration
of Acetaminophen was selected.
2. Several buttons appear on the transaction line at the bottom of the screen. Click Correct/Supplement Document.
3. Choose Correct to change something that has already been documented or Supplement to add information (e.g. a comment regarding administration). Click OK.
4. From this point forward click on the field in which you need to change or supplement, make the appropriate changes, click on OK as appropriate until you see the Accept button.
5. Click on Accept to save your changes.
